At the university's preliminary level, engineering was everything. Its speciality began to expand when it began to offer undergraduate and graduate courses in engineering, management, medicine, pharmacy, design, and other fields. MIT is a pioneer in professional education, providing academic programmes at 4 universities and more than 72 other institutions in India. With more than 4000 academic members and more than 100000 alumni, the group today includes more than 63,000 students.

The MIT Group of Institutions, part of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research (MAEER), has helped thousands of students fulfil their hopes and objectives while also advancing the industrial, economic, and social development of society for more than 25 years. In addition, the MAEER trust agrees with Albert Einstein's statement that "I believe in God, who shows himself in the beautiful harmony of the cosmos, & I think that intelligence is exhibited throughout nature."
