What is CUET?
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities. CUET is conducted by NTA. CUET provides a platform to provide equal opportunity to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas, and helps establish better connections with the Universities.

- Candidates must have qualified for 10+2 or going to sit for the 10+2 exam 2024 to be eligible for CUET 2024.
- Students who have qualified 10+2 conducted by a recognised Central/State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
- There is no age limit for the CUET Exam 2024.
Candidates can refer to the simple steps provided below to apply online.
- Step 1: On the homepage of the website gujcet.gseb.org, click on the link for “New User Registration”.
- Step 2: Now the registration form opens and candidates must fill up the form by providing the correct information only.
- Step 3: Generate the Login ID and password by completing the registration process.
- Step 4: Click on the “Login” option on the home page and log in with the credentials generated.
- Step 5: At this step, complete the payment of the application fee of Rs 300. It can be paid through SBI Epay System using a credit/debit card or internet banking.
- Step 6: Fill up the application form correctly and upload the necessary scanned document images.
CUET 2024 exam center can be selected during the CUET 2024 application process.
- Students are allowed to choose two cities as their examination centers.
- Choice of Centre Cities will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or State of Present Address only.
- If there are few candidates from a City then NTA will have the right to merge one, two, or more cities.
NTA releases city intimation before releasing CUET admit card. The city intimation slip mentions the city where the exam center is located. Last year the exam was conducted in 285 cities in India and 23 cities outside India in Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Ottawa, Oslo, Port Louis, Sydney, Moscow, Vienna, Washington DC. CUET Application Form 2024
CUET 2024 Application Form is expected to be out by the 1st week of February 2024. Candidates can download the information brochure and a replica of the application for better understanding available on the official website.
- Registration is required for the process of CUET 2024 Application process.
- Candidates must remember the Application number and the password for further CUET Application process 2024.

CUET Exam Pattern 2024
CUET 2024 Exam Pattern will be released by NTA. Subject combinations for each paper, type of questions in each paper, and mode of examination are given in the table below:

CUET Syllabus 2024
CUET 2024 Syllabus is based on Class 12th syllabus aligned with the National Education Policy. NTA has divided CUET syllabus 2024 into three major sections- Language, Domain-specific and General Test.

NOTE : Candidates must note that admission to the same course at different universities might have different eligibility requirements leading to different CUET syllabi.
For example, for pursuing B.Sc Mathematics (Hons) from the University of Delhi, CUET Syllabus is Any one from Section 1+ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics + Any two from Section 2. However, for admission in the same course at the Banaras Hindu University, CUET syllabus is Section 2: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only. CUET Syllabus 2024 for Science Students
Due to the depth and interconnectivity of Science, candidates have a wide range of options based on the choice of their course. Each subject under CUET 2024 syllabus for science students has its own importance.
- Fundamental Sciences: These form the core of scientific understanding, chemical reactions, biological processes and mathematical principles. The subjects included are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
